160ft leap to support park kids

Bungee jump challenge

30 June, 2021 — By Tom Foot

DAREDEVILS are being offered the chance to plummet 160 feet from a crane on a bungee rope in Coram’s Fields.

The children’s charity’s fundraising event on August 14, a first for the public park in Bloomsbury, is being organised by the UK Bungee Club.

A crane will be winched into the park with the jump set up above an airbag. Limited spots are available for Camden residents who can raise £200 for charity.

Coram’s Fields is a seven-acre children-only park run by a charity that provides a range of services including an under-5s drop-in nursery, an after-school club and free youth and sports programmes.

“Through jumping into action for Coram’s Fields, you’ll be raising essential funds to help run our facilities and services for our community,” organisers said.
