A CLARION call has been sent out to make an action-packed fun day for disabled people and their families this Saturday the biggest one yet.

The Active for All sports extravaganza, which will be held at the Talacre Community Sports Centre in Kentish Town, returns for the first time since 2019 – bringing with it a whole host of activities for young people aged eight and over and adults.

There will be football, basketball and gymnastics sessions, along with adapted bike rides and trampolining.

Organised by Camden Active, there will also be athletics, boccia, new-age curling and more.

And best of all, the events will be completely free of charge, running from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

Ben Dorsett, who works for Camden Council’s Sport and Physical Activity Service, said: “We’re so delighted to finally be hosting the Active for All sports day again, it’s been a patient wait – but we’re finally back!

“Now let’s make it the biggest one we’ve held so far, so come along and try out all the fun activities on offer.

“There will also be information stalls and coaches on hand to tell young visitors all about the sports on offer throughout the year.”
