DETECTIVES are appealing for information after a man was stabbed multiple times in a “sustained attack” in Paddington.
Police rushed down to reports of a fight between two men in Woodchester Square, Warwick Avenue, on April 21 at around 4pm, but found no sign of disturbance.
But soon after they discovered a 27-year-old man with multiple stab wounds in a nearby flat, after being called there by the London Ambulance Service.
The man, who had a collapsed lung and other injuries, was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the attack – a 23-year-old who has been bailed until mid-May and a 25-year-old who was released under investigation.
Police are appealing for help. DC Darren Barclay said: “This was a violent attack which left the victim with serious injuries. This happened in broad daylight in an area overlooked by residents, and we would urge anyone who saw what happened, or saw possible suspects in the area at the time, to contact police.”
Witnesses and anyone with information is asked to call 020 7321 7647, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you would prefer not to give your name. You can also tweet @MetCC
