Pro Touch Academy ready for European tour

FOOTBALLERS from a top youth academy will be looking to rack up the points – and the air miles – next season after a few long-haul away days were added to their fixture list.
Pro Touch Soccer Academy were busy rebranded this summer, switching to just Pro Touch SA, and also registering as a Community Interest Company. As a result their usual summer programme, featuring tournaments in Portugal, Denmark, Spain and Macedonia, were postponed.
But director Zahid Hossain says it will be business as usual next summer, with a few extra away days along the way. “We’ll have our usual competitions, plus we’re looking at a few new tournaments, too, including ones in France and Sweden – and even one in Brazil,” he said. n Above: the Under-12s.
